The Dovo shavette will allow you to "dip your toes" into the world of straight razors, without all the work required in maintaining a straight razor. Shavettes use ordinary double edge razor blades which have been snapped in half. These then slide into the blade insert using the supplied clear sleeve. The blade basically sticks out about 1mm, mimicking the blade of a straight razor. You will be in complete control of your razor and the blade angle, much like a straight razor.
